Both Companies Will Form New Nevada Corporation to Manufacture Luxury High Performance Pure Electric Vehicles Using Patented Technologies

SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Aug 17, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) — Electric Car Company, Inc. (OTCBB:ELCR), a vehicle conversion Company that specializes in electric conversions and manufacturing for the Livery, Fleet and Private Specialty Markets, today announces that it has executed the Definitive Agreement with Liberty Electric Cars, USA LLC. Under the terms of the Agreement, both Companies have agreed to a 50/50 ownership and joint venture that will operate under a newly formed Nevada Corporation named Liberty Electric Car, Inc. The Agreement will combine the respective expertise of the two Companies in the production of high performance zero emission luxury Pure Electric vehicles.
Pursuant to a recent announcement by the Company dated June 10th of this year, the joint venture will focus initially on the conversion of large luxury 4X4 vehicles like the Range Rover* and the Lincoln MKZ custom limousines using Liberty’s groundbreaking proprietary electric power train technology. This proprietary electric power system uses four on-board motors (one for each wheel) and incorporates a state-of-the art energy storage system. This provides a performance ability of 0-60 mph in less than 7 seconds with a top speed of 100mph and a travel range of 200 miles on a 6-hour charge. Until now, this has never been achieved in the large luxury vehicle sector.

The manufacturing of the vehicles will be based at the Electric Car Company’s conversion center in Springfield, Missouri. The new Company’s plan will be to rollout and establish further conversion centers across the United States on a franchise or company-owned basis.

Being in high demand and expanding the number of lighting options in their limos, Imperial Coach Builders has transitioned from using fluorescent lights to using LED. Customers have choices whether to outfit their limo with light up dance poles, rope lights, starry ceilings and walls, lighted floors and mood lights throughout their vehicle.

For this vehicle, Imperial Coach Builders manufactured an illuminating dance pole out of an acrylic rod that with RbG lighting that changes colors throughout the night. Springfield, MO. July 15th, 2010 – Electric Car Company, Inc. (OTCBB: ELCR), a vehicle conversion Company that specializes in electric conversions and manufacturing for the Livery and Fleet Markets, announced today that it has finalized an exclusive agreement with Sunbeam Motorsports, Inc. to manufacture and distribute six new models of 100% “Pure Electric” and solar hybrid low cost vehicles for the USA territory. Agreement will also give Electric Car Company the exclusive rights to market and sell the new vehicles to the Company’s existing customer base and to authorize new dealers in the United States.

The Company will utilize the manufacturing expertise of its wholly owned subsidiary Imperial Coach Works, Inc., and its custom manufacturing division, Imperial Coach Builders, Inc. to manufacture the cars to specifications. Company in Springfield MO makes traveling easier for those in wheelchairs

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– For the first time a person in a wheelchair doesn’t need a large van or bus fitted with a lift to get around. A four-door sedan will now do the job, with a few innovative adjustments to make it a little easier to travel.

Imperial Coach Builders has retrofitted a Lexus E350 to make it easier for the owner to get in and out. At the touch of a button, the car opens up, allowing easier access.
Imperial wants to show war veterans who are back from Iraq and Afghanistan that they have another option, other than a minivan or bus. Workers at Imperial say they’re proud to be a part of the project.
The company hopes to be able to help more people out there with disabilities. If the prototype works, and everything goes well, it could produce several hundred cars a year.
The Lexus conversion costs about $13,000. However, a domestic car will be much cheaper. Also, if they can mass produce the cars, the cost will go down. Imperial is shopping the car to Veterans Administration hospital patients.
